Styling Tips

  1. Wash your hair with a light shampoo and conditioner, and apply a light frizz free styling cream, nothing that will make your hair look wet or crunchy. Air dry or diffuse until it is completely dry. Do not try to style this look with damp hair; you will look wilted before you even leave the house.
  2. Flip your dry, wavy hair upside down and heavily spray with an aerosol hair spray, scrunching while you spray. This will help to keep your waves intact. Part your hair to the side and pull a section from the large side at the front of your head. Clip it to the side of your head and leave that section out of the style for now.
  3. Loosely begin to pin back small section at a time, pinning with bobby pins near your hairline to keep the style low. Place the bobby pins so they do not show. You can pin the style in the middle of your neck, or to one side to add variety. Spray hairspray throughout the style to give you hold for the entire night. Repeat this until you have a full bun with each wave separately pinned back.
  4. French braid the front section that you left out and secure it to the back. To French braid, start with a small section at the top and separate it into three pieces. Then take the outer sections over each other and grab a section of hair from the side each time you do it. Repeat all the way to the end. You can weave the braid through the bun or hide it underneath with several pins.

Pin Up Updos You Can Do Yourself

  1. Great looking waves start in the shower, especially with a look that is best for already styled curls. Apply your hard hold gel in the shower with your hair upside down. Then scrunch the moisture out with a micro fiber towel to create lift.
  2. Diffuse your hair upside down to add volume and dry faster. Do not move the diffuser around too much as that will just disturb your curls and frizz-out your waves. When your hair is completely dry, spray upside down with a scrunch spray, then scrunch to help increase the wave and increase the volume.
  3. Pull a few loose curls out to leave around your face to give you a sultry style. Lightly part your hair to one side to give the style more drama. Start twisting sections back, but stay with the curl pattern, and pin each curl. Do not break any curls apart or try to make it look perfect.
  4. When pinning the top back, try to create lift  by not smashing down on your head or pulling the waves back tightly. If you need to, you can slightly tease the top section just to give you volume.
  5. The underneath sections can be twisted up and around to give variation to the look. You can pin it in the middle of your head or pin it to a side to change it up.  Make sure you cannot see the bobby pins, they need to be hidden. Do not pin the hair tight to your head, the style needs to stay loose, but feel secure.

Holiday Hair: Wavy Fishtail Braids
Bun

Heading out for a holiday party, but your waves look a hot mess? Are you having a frizzy bad hair day? Listen up right now and put down that towel — you don’t need to get back in the shower and start over.

MORE: Curly Holiday Updos or Kinky Holiday Updos

Here is a great way to quickly pull your hair up and dazzle them with a fabulous holiday hair style — and save time in the process!

Fishtail Braid Your Way to the New Year

To create this off the runway look, it is best to start with next day or second day hair. If your waves are too clean, the style will not stay in place as well.

  1. Start by tipping your head upside down and spraying it all over with a hard hold aerosol hairspray. Then, take a teasing comb or brush and lightly tease your hair to help give it texture and hold.
  2. Part your hair on the side and then take the front section of the larger part to your ear. Clip the rest of your hair back. Next, French braid that front section. This does not need to be a clean French braid — the messier the better.  Then, secure the braid behind your ear with bobby pins.
  3. Take the remaining top crown section and tease heavily, spraying aerosol hairspray throughout. This will create the lift and “poof” effect. Twist each side inward and use several bobby pins to secure in place.  If you have a lot of heavy hair then criss cross the pins to give more hold.
  4. Finally, fishtail braid the remaining hair. The remaining section of hair should be the bottom portion of your hair, and the larger portion of what you parted earlier. Split the hair into two even sections, but braid in the direction of the French braid that is already pinned behind your ear. Start by taking a piece (a half-inch or so”> of hair from the outside of one section and bring it to the inside of the other section. The smaller section that you create, the tighter the braid will be — the larger sections you take, the bigger. Continue taking small sections from the outer part of one section and crossing it over to the inner part of the other section, switching sides as you go. Secure at the end with a small ponytail holder.

Final Thoughts

If you want a messy unfinished look, take a boar-bristle paddle brush and run it over the fishtail braid and finish with hairspray.

Quick & Easy Hat Hair Remedies
Bun

In these upcoming cold months, it’s hard to fight the dreaded hat hair. When you put a hat on your head that you plan on taking off during the day, make sure you carefully place it on your head first and try not to disturb it. This will help reduce the amount of frizz you get from the hat and hopefully it won’t disturb your curls too much.

Keep it Refreshing

  1. When you take the hat off, put your head upside and spray a refresher in your hair, like DevaCurl Mist-er Right. This will help to bring your curls back to life by dampening them a bit and allowing them to re-curl.
  2. Spray more towards the root first, and then towards the ends and scrunch upwards, but do not run your fingers through your hair disturbing your curls.
  3. Wavy (Type 2″>: After you have refreshed it, reapply a hard hold gel to reactivate your waves and to help give you volume again.  Scrunch for a few minutes, and then do not touch your hair again until it is dry. Then, lightly scrunch to slightly release the waves.
  4. Curly (Type 3″>: Refresh and add a medium hold gel or styling cream to keep your curl pattern is in place. You only need to lightly scrunch — if you scrunch too much it will frizz.
  5. Kinky (Type 4″>: Apply a frizz-free oil and a curling cream together to keep the frizz down while you lightly scrunch to refresh the curls. You may need to spray in a frizz fighting agent, like DevaCurl Set It Free, to cut down on the frizzy halo.

Moisture is Key

Cold weather and hat hair create lots of unwanted frizz together, a curly girl’s nightmare. You need to hydrate and moisturize your hair to cut down on the frizz.  If it is really cold, windy and dry out, keep a spray-in moisturizer on hand to reapply during the day.

  1. Wavy (Type 2″>: Do not spray too much of a defrizzer in, it will weigh your waves down. Use it sparingly instead, but apply a light frizz-free oil by scrunching it in while your hair is upside down.
  2. Curly (Type 3″>: Use a medium hold gel and a curling serum together and scrunch upside down slowly and hold for a few seconds, and release slowly not to disturb the curl pattern.
  3. Kinky (Type 4″>: Cocktail a defrizzer and a curling serum together and scrunch it in to cut the frizz and rejuvenate your curls, but do not disturb the curl pattern.

Do the Twist

When all else fails and your curls are just a hot mess, do a little twisting.

  1. Scrunch in a texture spray, and then  pull a section from each side in the front and pin it back, twisting while you pin it. This will give the impression that it is curly even when your hair is falling flat.
  2. Wavy (Type 2″>: Pin more waves back on top if your waves have fallen extremely flat. If need be, tease the top crown area to create a little height before you pin it.
  3. Curly (Type 3″> & Kinky (Type 4″>: Twist several sections back, crisscrossing over each other to create a little style, like a mock braid, to hide a flat spot from your hat hair. Add a shine serum if your hair is getting too frizzy.

Quick & Easy Curly Hair Styles For a New Look

Sick and tired of your same old curly hair styles? Need a break from that afro, protective style, bun or ponytail? We hear you!

Curly hair may be versatile, but it’s easy to get stuck in a style rut! Buns are easy, accessories are cheap, and a ponytail gets its all out of your face! So we went looking for easy ways to change up these tired curly styles without spending 45 minutes on a twist set!

Faux Bob

Skip the Cut, Get the Look

Tired of the same old boring long hair? Then, it’s time to create a whole new look for yourself!

  1. Section your hair in half from the top of each ear. Temporarily clip the top half on top of your head. Then take the bottom section and tightly secure it to your head, pinning it closely to hide that section of your hair.
  2. Take the top section of layers down and pin loose pieces that are longer than the rest up to even it all out to length of hair to create a bob. Make sure it feels secure so it will last all day long.
  3. Type 2 (Wavy”>: Use a hard hold gel on your hair before drying and scrunch it in upside down to create lift and to ensure that the waves will last all day. If you have short layers in the front, leave a few out to accentuate your face.
  4. Type 3 (Curly“>: Create a deep side part while your hair is damp to show off your curls. Use a medium hold gel on your hair to keep the curls in control and the frizz away.
  5. Type 4 (Kinky”>: Apply a smoothing cream all over your damp hair being careful not to pull apart any of the curls while pinning; this will only make the hair frizz. Use a hair serum or hair oil while pinning to keep the frizz down and to add shine to your new ‘do.

Loosen Up

Rock Looser Waves!

Change your curl pattern for the day. If you always wear a tighter curl or do a lot of scrunching, then it is about time to change it up.

  1. Loosen the curl pattern by using a smoothing shampoo and conditioner. Then use a smoothing cream and frizz free serum together and run your fingers through your hair instead of scrunching. Run your fingers away from your face so that the curls will flow back.
  2. Before air drying your hair, take a large tooth comb and comb down the hair shaft a little to soften your curl and to give your more of a wave pattern.
  3. Type 2 (Wavy”>: You might already have a looser curl, so just lightly do this technique. You may even need to scrunch the ends slightly with a frizz-free foam to give them a wavier look.
  4. Type 3 (Curly“>: Lightly use the wide-toothed comb during your air drying to soften your hair to a wave. Use a smoothing cream if you start to see any frizz.
  5. Type 4 (Kinky”>: Let your hair air dry and keep running a serum through your hair to loosen your curl as it dries. The weight of the water drying in your hair will tone down the curls.

Texturize It

Sass up your style and let go!

Set your controlled curls free for a day to achieve for a different look. Normally you would wash and set your hair and not touch it all day, but it’s time to change that!

  1. After your hair is set, apply a sea salt spray lightly all over, and start to scrunch while your hair is upside down. This will add lots of texture and will open the curls up.
  2. Type 2 (Wavy”>: Looser waves will require lots of scrunching, the more scrunching and the longer you hold them the more texture you will achieve.
  3. Type 3 (Curly“>: While scrunching the spray in lightly, run your fingers through your hair once or twice, no more. This will change up your curls pattern a bit and add extra texture.
  4. Type 4 (Kinky”>: Scrunch with the sea salt spray and also add a shine serum to add texture and shine to your look. Do not run your fingers through your curls; you will get too much frizz.

Waves & Curls Grace Rodeo Drive Walk of Style
Bun

The 2011 Rodeo Drive Walk of Style, held to honor style legends for their contributions to the world of fashion and entertainment, was chock full of curlies, proving that natural hair isn’t just a hair style, but a legendary fashion movement.

We caught up with our favorite curly stylist and got the low down on how Rachel Zoe, Sofia Vergara, Alexis Bledel, Chrissy Telgen and Margherita Missoni got the curls that rocked Rodeo Drive!

Rachel Zoe

Rachel’s beachy California blonde locks were stunning with her Ombre hair color on the red carpet. She looks fantastic after just having a baby a few months ago.

  1. Wash your hair with a volumizing shampoo and conditioner to create a free flowing look.
  2. Apply a sea salt spray to your hair with your hair upside down, to allow your curls to have bounce and volume.
  3. Before drying, whether you air dry or use a hair diffuser, smooth the hair down from the roots to about 3 or 4 inches down the hair shaft so that you do not have too much curl at the root. You can do this with a smoothing cream if your hair is a type 3 or type 4. Type 2 waves will do this naturally.

Sofia Vergara

Sofia Vergara.

Sofia was sexy and sultry as usual with her caramel colored waves on Rodeo Drive.

  1. Use a smoothing shampoo and conditioner so you can have more control over your waves.
  2. While your hair is damp, scrunch in a smoothing cream while upside down to create a slight lift and to add hold to your curls.
  3. When the hair is dry, rub a smoothing serum in your hands and lightly run it through your ends to keep the fly aways at bay.

Alexis Bledel

Alexis Bledel.

Alexis’ simple, loose, wavy curls complemented her patterned dress. She sure looks all grown up now and the waves brought a great amount of texture to her ensemble.

  1. Create a part on the side and lightly comb the hair going back away from the face.
  2. Scrunch upside down with a light gel or foam to give the hair hold and texture.
  3. Diffuse to give the hair bounce and hold, and finish with a shine spray for high gloss.

Chrissy Telgen

Chrissy Telgen.

Chrissy strutted her stuff on the red carpet with her long loose waves. Her colorful frock showed off her amazing legs with class.

  1. Create a deep middle part while the hair is wet. Comb the crown area back and put clips at the root too create lift in that area while drying.
  2. Apply a frizz-free foam or mousse to the ends to midshaft to give the hair bounce and hold.
  3. When the hair is dry, scrunch, scrunch and scrunch to give the hair a more textured look. .

Margherita Missoni

Margherita Missoni.

Margherita kept her hair in control with a sophisticated updo to show off her jewelry. This style is best with day old curls, so that the hair is completely dry, and so that there is sufficient texture in the hair.

  1. Create a deep side part and pull the front two sections aside.
  2. Twist the back section on top of the head and pin with bobby pins, thicker hair might require a lot of pins. Make sure it feels secure.
  3. Pull each of the side sections to the back and secure with pins. The larger section should be loose in the front to create a wave pattern.
  4. Spray with hairspray throughout the process and especially when finished to keep control of the curls and the frizz.

Quick & Easy Curly Hairstyles for Date Night

Just got home from a late night at the office and need to take your curls from bland to date night sexy in a snap? Not to worry! We found our favorite quick and easy curly hairstyles that will transform your day look and keep his eyes locked on you from dinner to wine on the beach.

Pump Up the Volume

With bouncy, voluminous, sexy curls!

Volume is an easy way to pump up the sex appeal! The only challenge here is warding off gravity and stopping it from pulling your curls down. Sound impossible? It’s not!

  1. Volume starts in the shower! Apply your gel or mousse in the shower with sopping wet hair and your head upside down. Scrunch in an upward motion toward your head to increase the curl and volume; you can never scrunch too much. This not only keeps moisture in, but also adds height to the crown area.
  2. Scrunch while you are still upside down with a microfiber towel. Diffusing will give you the most volume for type 2 and 3 given that air-drying will take a while, and the weight of your hair will cause loss of volume.
  3. Wavy (Type 2″>: Use a hard holding gel or volumous mousse to give you hold all night. Take pin-curl clips and clip at the root of your hair on the top of your head to give you lift while drying. Be careful not to disturb your curl pattern. Pile your hair on top of your head and secure with a clip or two while drying to create lots of lift.
  4. Curly (Type 3″>: By using a light gel and frizz free oil cocktailed together, you can achieve volume without frizz. Use pin-curl clips on the crown of your head to create volume and lift.
  5. Kinky (Type 4″>: Most kinky curly hair already has volume and lift, but you need to have it without frizz. Leave some of your conditioner in your hair and lightly rinse to keep the frizz out. Then apply a soft styling cream and frizz free oil together to lock the moisture in. Air-drying is best so you will not agitate the curls.

Bump It!

This is not Snooki’s bump, either!

Now I’m not talking about a Snooki bump, just a mild bump on your crown. These are super easy to create and give you the illusion of volume without the shower and setting time period.

  1. Grab a section of hair from your hairline at your forehead and pull it back much like you would pull your hair back to create a ponytail, only use less hair. Then, ever so slightly push your hair forward to create a mini-bump. You can choose to leave a few stray curls out around your face, or to pull it all back.
  2. Bobby pins are your best friend, so don’t be afraid to use them. The key is to lock them in place by making an X.  Always make sure you do not disturb your curl pattern when you pin them.
  3. Wavy (Type 2″>: If you have fine hair, you may need to lightly tease the top section of your hair to hold your style so your hair won’t split during the night. Simply tease close to the scalp, but not all the way through or you’ll disturb your curls and create frizz. Spray a hard hold aerosol hair spray before and after you tease. Then, pin your hair back one side at a time making sure that it feels secure before moving on.
  4. Curly (Type 3″>: To change up your bump look, criss-cross your hair in the back giving it a slightly braided look, then pin in place. This will also help create the lift you need for the style. Make sure to spray with a spritz hair spray throughout to hold your curl and reduce frizz.
  5. Kinky (Type 4″>: Smooth with a strong frizz free oil on the top half of your hair as you are pinning back to keep the frizz at bay. Pin hair back one side at a time and smooth with each pin. If your hair is extremely thick, you may need to use a lot of bobby pins to hold your hair in place. Be creative and put them all going the same direction or try a fun design.

Accessorize, Accessorize, Accessorize

Make your ‘do fun & flirty

When you’re in a time crunch, accessories can be your best friend! Spice your ‘do up with a cute bow or flower, giving it a “I spent a lot of time on this” look!  There is such a huge selection of hair jewelry on the market right now, so you have no excuse to not find something that fits your personal style!

  1. If the accessory is too heavy for your hair, use a couple bobby pins first to position the hair where you want it and then place the clip on top of it.
  2. Only put accessories in on dry, set hair. Doing otherwise can and will cause frizz, and will lessen the ability of the bobby pins to hold the accessory in place. This means more touching, which equals more frizz. Don’t do it!
  3. Wavy (Type 2″>: A great scarf tied around your hairline will dramatize your look. Do not choose one that is too long, but one that is just a little bit longer than your hair length, and keep it simple. This is perfect for second-day hair fails, since the scarf will cover up any oil build-up at your roots.
  4. Curly (Type 3″>: A bow or a clip will show off your amazing curls. Clip one side of your hair up and place it there. You might need to pin the side up with some bobby pins if the clip is too heavy for your hair.
  5. Kinky (Type 4″>: Perfectly a placing a decorated headband in your hair will compliment your outfit. You can leave a few tendrils out around your face, too. Do not mess with the headband too much during the night, though, as it will disrupt your curls if you do.

Hot Summer 2011 Hair Trends
Bun

From coast to coast, hair extensions and faded color is all the rage this season. Here’s a look at two hot summer 2011 hair trends.

Feather Hair Extensions

Right now you cannot go anywhere without seeing people with feather hair extensions. You can dress them up or dress them down which makes them very versatile. They’re also huge at all the schools because the kids can get away with them; schools haven’t outlawed them because they’re a hair accessory. They can be washed, blow dried, curled, and flat ironed, and are safe for hair since they attach with a simple hair extension clamp.

You care for feather hair extensions just like a regular hair extension. The feathers come in all lengths, colors, sizes, and designs. However, if you’ve ever tried to order some for your salon, you’ll find out that they’re sold out almost everywhere. My salon was even approached by another salon to see if they could buy ours! But if you’re lucky enough to order some, you know that there are slim pickings right now because of the high demand. Feather hair extensions started out as fly fishing feathers from roosters, peacocks and various other birds. The poor fishermen are probably a little peeved at all the crazy hair stylists out there buying their stock.

Jessica Biel

Ombre Hair Color

Ombre hair color, reverse highlights, or balayaging or whatever you call it is also hot this year. Jessica Biel, Sarah Jessica Parker, Drew Barrymore, Hillary Duff are some of the celebrities who have been rocking this look for a while. This look means having a grown-out bleachy and dark-to-light fade of hair color, with the root starting dark and gradually lightening to the ends.

This look is achieved by coloring halfway up the hair strand to create a natural, sun-kissed highlight. Foils cannot be used because they will cause the hair to look too streaky. If the hair has previous highlights and the highlights are too high up on the hair shaft, you will have to create a dark root by coloring the roots to the midshaft their natural color, and sweeping the color down almost half way. Then you will have to go back and color the midshaft to create a natural highlight and to break up the line. Ombre hair color is more economical for many clients because they are able to go between appointments a lot longer.

Oscars 2011: How to Get the Red Carpet Look for Your Hair

Rock these hairstyles like the superstar you are!

Scarlett Johansson

Scarlett Johansson with a sexy bob

Scarlett Johansson’s a-line bob was accentuated tonight with sexy, messy curls. Use a hair spray as a setting spray before you use an 1″ iron to wrap the hair around, but leave the ends out to create an imperfect curl. Then flip upside down, and with pomade in your hands, mess up the curls to give it that vixen look. The idea is loose and messy, so don’t go for perfect.

Jennifer Hudson

Jennifer Hudson looked gorgeous with her posh updo

Jennifer Hudson looked svelte tonight in her Versace gown and curled pompadour. This posh updo was created by using curled hair, or hair extensions, then setting them in place with bobby pins on top of the head to create more volume. Do not brush the hair out—instead use pin curls, which is pinning a set curl—this way you don’t lose the curl pattern or shape. Spraying hair spray throughout each pin will guarantee your style will stay in place all night.

Anne Hathaway

Anne Hathaway wore her hair in a low chignon on the red carpet

Anne Hathaway’s red carpet low chignon was perfect with her Valentino dress. Curl all your hair with a 1 1/2″ iron all over, then smooth the hair down on top, and pin back with bobby pins into a knot-like style, making it low on the nape. Make sure to leave a few face-framing pieces out so it doesn’t look too slicked back. This style is versatile and can be made more tight to get more elegance or can be looser to create a more natural look.

Amy Adams

Amy Adams wore faux finger waves at the 2011 Academy Awards

Amy Adams, Best Supporting Actress nominee for her role in “The Fighter,” wore glamorous faux finger waves that are very simple to recreate and will stay all night. This is easily achieved with a 2″ iron, then brush out with a paddle brush to create a set curl. Form the wave pattern you want with your fingers and your brush—don’t brush too hard—just enough to mold the wave you want. Spraying a hair spray at the end to set the look will ensure your startlet look.

SAG Awards: And the best hair goes to… Melissa Leo!

Veteran stylist Anna Craig of Trashy Root Salon & Spa offers a recap of the award show and a rundown of the hair:

The 17th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards were handed out Sunday night in Los Angeles. As one of the industry’s premiere events, it offered the usual glitz and glam.

Big, long, elegant dresses, tasteful jewelry, and toned-down hair were the theme of the show. Curls were definitely not in force at tonight’s show; the big trend was blown out, slicked back and straight ponytails.

Angie Harmon

Angie Harmon, from Rizzoli and Isles, not only had on one ungodly dress but, again, she had a slicked-back ponytail. She had probably the worst look of the night. What happened to her amazing wavy hair?

Melissa Leo

The big winner of the night, Melissa Leo, star of “The Fighter,” styled her hair with a sexy, loose curly updo. She kept true to her natural curls by diffusing her curls then loosely pinning them back, leaving a few out in the front to frame the face.

Julianna Margulies

Oh, Julianna Margulies, from “The Good Wife,” you disappoint me so. Where have your curls gone lately? She had her hair blown-out straight and then slicked down in a ponytail; this was by far my least favorite look for one of the best curlies out there.

Kyra Sedgwick

Kyra Sedgwick, from The Closer, had some curlies going on last night. Her hair looked sophisticated and fun at the same time. Her curly hair was diffused and lightly sun kissed with blond highlights.

<Jane Krakowski

With baby bumps everywhere this season, Jane Krakowski, from 30 Rock, was definitely rocking her bump with her controlled curls. Jane’s curly q’s were put into waves tonight to make her one hot mama. Her hair was blown out, but her volume was kept and then looser curls were styled going away from her face to create her sexy wave.

<Mila Kunis

Mila Kunis, of Black Swan, kept her wavy hair down and wavy, with just a hint of caramel color popping with balayaged highlights. Mila’s simple style can be recreated by taking a 2” barrel iron and lightly wrapping your hair around it to create her wavy look.

Helena Bonham Carter

Where do I even start with Helena Bonham Carter, of “The King’s Speech.” She had a crazy updo that should have stayed in the ’90s where it originated. This too-curly updo with side swung curls was perfect for her quirky personality, but too over the top for anyone else.

Christina Hendricks

Christina Hendricks, from “Mad Men,” likes to represent for the curly girl. Her hair was blown out to sophistication and had such a pin-up vibe, then curled with a 1” iron to set it in place for that old-fashioned starlet look.

2010 Tony Awards: To Curl or Not to Curl?

That is indeed the question, and many stars on the red carpet of the 2010 Tony Awards decided to answer that question by embracing their inner “curly-ness” and straying away from the societal “Hollywood” pressures of wearing straight hair.  The awards were held at Radio City Music Hall in New York and aired on Sunday, June 13.

Bernadette Peters

Two-time Tony award winner Bernadette Peters looked stunning in a copper-toned gown with a head full of long, fiery-red curls.

Jonathan Groff

‘Glee’ star, Jonathan Groff (or Jessie St. James to all of the “Gleeks” out there”> looked handsome on the red carpet in a black tuxedo and loose, light blond curls.

Matthew Morrison

Matthew Morrison or Mr. Schuester our favorite Glee club coach, also looked quite attractive in a classic black tuxedo and his trademark brunette curls.

Laura Bell Bundy

Singer and Broadway actress, Laura Bell Bundy looked amazing in a floor-length silver and gold gown and big blond barrel curls to match.

Karen Olivo

Karen Olivo, Tony-award winner and television actress, wore her long, gorgeous brunette hair down with a slight beach wave at the bottom. This is a perfect match for her long, flowing creamed colored gown.

Karine Plantadit

Cameroonian-born dancer and actress Karine Plantadit may not be a household name but she definitely deserves curl praise. She frequently wears her hair in a tight-coiled, light brown curly afro and this award ceremony was no different. She looks amazing in a loose fitting black gown while showing off some of her elegant dance moves on the red carpet.
