How I achieve my twist-out
- Moisturize. I use water and leave-in cream. You may use a twist cream as well.
- Finger detangle. I start from the bottoms to the root for smooth.
- Twist. Take two sections of your hair and twist them down.
- Twirl. Use your fingers or rollers to twirl the ends. Flat twist the front for more definition and a softer wave.
- Let it dry and untwist. I use coconut oil, scrunch it onto the ends to reduce frizz. Unravel the twists starting from the bottom, working your way up.
2 Easy Pompadour Styles
- STYLE 1: Create a small pompadour with the front twist-out sections of your hair. Cross the ends in the back toward the center of your hair, using bobby pins. I like to dress it up with a broach where the twists meet.
- STYLE 2: Follow the above steps, and then tuck the rest of the hair in back with additional bobby pins for a full updo.
