You will need the following:
- rat tail comb
- ponytail holders
- smoothing gel
- bobby pins
- barrettes
Step 1
Use a rat tail comb to create a horizontal part from ear to ear and secure the back section in a ponytail. Create another part from the crown to the front and secure the left and right sections with two ponytail holders.
Step 2
Add smoothing gel to the edges and braid each section.
Step 3
Pull the two braids toward the back, crossing one another, and wrap around the rear braid. Pin the ends in place with bobby pins. Next, wrap rear braid around the others and pin into a bun shape.
Step 4
Finish with a soft gel to smooth fly-aways and add a flower or hair bow for a girly look.
