The Naturally Curly Pool Party is back for it’s second year, and this time we’re headed down to the Sunshine State to dive into summer with our curl friends! Join us on Saturday June 2nd for the bash of the season at The Omni Resort in Orlando from 5-8pm.
We’ve got an action packed afternoon featuring poolside styling demonstrations by your favorite curly brands Amika, UR Curly, My DNA, Shea Moisture and Ouidad! Could there be a better way to experience summer than a dip in the pool and a cruise around the lazy river (YES: Lazy River!”> than with expert stylists standing by to style your curls? We think not.
In addition to the styling demos, we’ll have summery cocktails, goodie bags, and oodles of awesome giveaways you won’t want to miss! The event is FREE of charge so make sure to RSVP today and secure your spot!
Curls and Water Do Mix
“This was absolutely the best curly event I’ve ever been to,” exclaimed a 2011 Curly Pool Party attendeed! “I can’t wait for next year’s!” The Curly Pool Party was inspired by the idea of creating a curl-friendly environment from a place that often has been off-limits for curls, coils and waves. For many with curly hair, the thought of a swim in the pool brings nightmares of tangles, dryness, and frizzy, hard-to-manage hair. But we at NaturallyCurly believe that above all else curls and water DO mix and the Curly Pool Party was created to celebrate texture and educate curlies about proper summertime hair care.
The expert stylists will also be sharing information about:
- Dealing with frizz and humidity
- Creating haute hairstyles for fun in the sun
- Maintaining moisture in the hot summer months
