Silver Sultriness
Silver is not just for the older women anymore as we see more younger women and celebrities show us just how gorgeous the right silver can look on any woman. The versatility of silver is endless, as silver can pull in blonde, gold, blue, and lilac; not the harsh Crayola colors but subtle colors are a safe and beautiful bet. Don’t snooze on the silver curlies.

Rose Gold
If we have silver we must have gold! Not the brassy gold that’s too harsh for everything, but the softer gold that’s a mix of pink, brown, and blonde. Its soft, sun-kissed, and light hue is the perfect color for spring. This color is stunning and practical, as some curlies cannot afford to wear the bolder colors for work, but still want to look amazing off the clock.

Did somebody say Sombré?
Ok, I get it. Ombré is out, but sombré is a much classier and fresher version of the played out style. Color expert Sheri Román of Román Salon in Los Angeles explains why it’s a great hair trend for 2014: “It’s a less drastic way to try an ombré look; the gradation of color is not as extreme and it is really beautiful on brunettes, adding golden honey hues which are super-flattering.” Gradual color that’s delicate and pleasing to the eye is just right for spring.

Ice, Ice Brunette
There’s a cool front coming through and no it’s not the weather. Cooler chestnuts with chilled brown-toned highlights will be popping up on many brunettes as they realize how sexy this trend will be for spring. This glammed style is showing up in Hollywood and is solid proof that going lighter is not always hotter!

Are you well RED?
Red is truly a hot color this spring and all shades of red will be popular. Just about anybody can be a redhead, but for the best look for you would be to stick to cooler red for cooler skin tones and brighter reds for darker skin tones. After being downplayed for the past few years, red has become a favorite this spring and a go-to look as we get closer to summer.
Mahogany Bombshell
Don’t want to go over the top or even to a lighter shade? No need as the perfect refresher for brunettes would be the mahogany base and some seriously subtle highlights on the tips that will make you glow. Great for paler skin tones but even awesome for darker skin tones with a tad more highlights. Watch the sun sparkle on your mane and make you irresistible this spring.

Icy-hot Blonde
What’s a girl to do to stay cool this spring? Go blonde! Slightly silver and platinum blonde is leaving the warm golds to a sultrier look that’s great for cooler skin tones and perfect for a fun change in 2014.
