What was it like for you growing up with textured hair?
I’ve always been in love with my curls since High school, but I never used the right products for it, till one day my curls were damaged and my hair started falling, Then I made the worst decision ever, using collagen to straighten my hair.
What made you decide to embrace your naturally curly/coily/wavy hair?
Using collagen didn’t help except for the first few months. My hair case got worse. At that time I noticed a lot of beautiful curly hair ladies so I got motivated to start getting my curly hair back
What has been the most empowering moment of your natural hair journey so far?
The Curly Girl Method saved my hair. Taking care of my curls now in the proper way, using natural products makes me feel safe that my curls won’t be damaged again.
How do you protect your curls at night?
I tie it up in a pineapple shape and wear silk bonnet

My leave in conditioner and Hair growth oil!
What is your current hair regimen? Any favorite products you’d like to share?
I deep condition & wash my hair with shampoo once per week and use conditioner 2-3 times per week

What has been the most challenging moment of your natural hair journey so far?
Patience. It took me a year to reach where I am now and during the journey I got those times when I started to get frustrated and wanting to give up.
Are there any techniques or methods that have made a huge impact on your hair health?
The oil mask. It improved my hair growth dramatically
What’s your advice to women who are still struggling with loving their natural texture?
Patience, patience, patience once you start the CG method. Good things take time and this time it’s worth it!
