As I was sitting in my room, flipping through television channels, I came across the beautiful, large natural curliness of singer Leela James while she was a guest on the Mo’Nique Show on BET.

She was on the show June 24 promoting her newest album “My Soul” which was released in May. She looked absolutely gorgeous and I couldn’t help but marvel over the abundance of tightly coiled curls that sat atop her head.

All I have to say to Leela James is Thank You for embracing your curls in a major way.
