We couldn’t stop ourselves from refreshing our screens every 10 seconds because these Met Gala looks were just too good to miss.
The Met Gala is an annual fashion event hosted in New York as a fundraiser that merges the support from some of the biggest names in the industry. This year the theme was Garden of Time and we were gasped with how well our favorite celebrities aced the assignment.

1). Teyana Taylor

Embodying a rose in Harlem, Teyana Taylor was stunning in this ruby red velvet dress. Her distressed blonde hair styled as a lengthy fishtail braid was the perfect accessory to her bronze toned skin.

While black may be an unexpected color for this year’s garden theme, LaLa incorporated flowers uniquely in her lace designed dress. If that wasn’t enough, she completed this stylish ensemble with a high pony up-do wrapped with a black ribbon bow.

Tyla made us want to head to the beach wearing this custom Balmain gown. Her wet and wavy bob was thirst quenching and if you look closely, you’ll notice her nails were even dripping with water droplet designs.

Nicki never fails to remind us that she is the “Harajuku Barbie”. She served us a throwback tease with her signature china bangs and she landed a bullseye with this eye-popping dress.

10’s across the board for Miss Monae as she dominated every category from face, hair, body and posture. Janelle radiated wearing this Vera Wang dress with her hair trim and pulled back as the perfect compliment to this statement of a dress.

One of our favorite looks from the evening, Keke is the epitome of a queen. Her do’ elevated and embellished with bling is the perfect inspo for your next formal occasion.

Lizzo blew us away with this corseted head piece. She wore her hair styled in a pixie with bangs accentuating her face.
