- Leave-in for Coily and Curly Patterns – Due to its slightly gelatinous consistency, emulsifying the Moisture Foundation with your palms is essential to the application process. Once emulsified, apply the foundation to wet hair, focusing on the hairline, including the hair along the sides and at the base of your neck. Follow this by sectioning, and applying a quarter-size amount of the treatment from root to tip to your hair. For even distribution, use a wide-tooth comb to work the treatment through the hair. Air dry for optimal styling.
- Rinse-out for Wavy Patterns – Due to its slightly gelatinous consistency, emulsifying the Moisture Foundation with your palms is essential to the application process. Once emulsified, apply the foundation to wet hair, focusing on the hairline, including the hair along the sides and at the base of your neck. Follow this by sectioning, and applying a dime-size amount of the treatment from root to tip to your hair. For even distribution, use a wide-tooth comb to work the treatment through the hair, and leave in for 3-5 minutes. For ideal hydration and heat styling conditions, lightly rinse the Moisture Foundation out of strands. You will want to do this to leave a light coat of the product on your hair strands to act as a moisturizing barrier.
