On Thursday July 5th, over 500 curlies from all around the country gathered in New Orleans for a natural hair celebration hosted by CurlyNikki. Sponsored by leading natural hair care brand MIZANI the event featured four live styling vignettes in which MIZANI styling technicians showed attendees how to use MIZANI products to style and care for all types and textures of natural hair. “I’ve never been to a natural hair meet up before and this one is blowing me away!”, gushed one attendee.

Final Thoughts
A truly successful event, the CurlyNikki + MIZANI New Orleans meet up provided a great venue for natural hair newbies and veterans alike to not only come together, but also learn new natural hair styling tips and techniques from experts. “This is a great event because people here are really asking questions because they want to KNOW,” explained MIZANI’s Veronique Morrison. “They want the knowledge and support to really care for their hair well and that’s why we’re happy to be here!”
