People have been up in arms recently over the proposed remakes of movies like “Dirty Dancing” and “Footloose,” but one Hollywood reboot is passing under the public outrage radar: “Charlie’s Angels. Maybe it’s because the thirty-five year old TV-series was redone on the big screen with the butt-kicking trio of Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu. Now, Charlie’s favorite spy gals are coming back to nighttime television, ditching the old era style and adding modern day fashion and wit to the mix.
Charlie’s Curlies!
Wile Farrah Fawcett rocked the feathered blonde look that still defines her generation, this new group of ladies is opting for a more natural, down to earth appeal. That’s right, these new angels are wavies and curlies!
Minka Kelly, Rachael Taylor and Annie Ilonzeh will be stepping out in their natural locks and proving to the world that curly hair, smarts, talent and sex appeal often come in one beautifully wrapped package.
When asked about her new hairstyle in an interview with ABC News, Racheal Taylor said, “It’s the reason why I cut my hair [to not be compared with Fawcett]. Not because I didn’t like it, but because I was like, ‘What are women doing now?’ It is all about keeping it current.”
So, rev up curly girls. The new “Charlie’s Angels” series is about to show everyone that curly hair is fashionable, fun and fierce. I’m just hoping they do an episode on the topic! If they do, you can be sure I’m going to write about it.

What do you think about these new angels? Is naturally curly hair now modern and mainstream? These ladies sure think so!
