We sat down with her to chat about the latest addition to the CURLS family, the Hair Under There Collection and how she has used it with celebrity clients. Can you tell us about some styles you’ve created with this collection?
All the styles I have created using the collection are protective styles since the CURLS Hair Under There Collection was specifically formulated for wig, weave, and extension wearers. The most notable looks have been the sleek low ponytail wig that was seen on Cardi b for the Grammys and the elevated finger wave look seen this year on Cardi B at Vanity Fair.
What is your favorite product from this collection and why?
My favorite product from the collection is the CURLS Hair Under There Detox Tea Cleansing Shampoo. I absolutely love how fresh, minty, tingly, and clean the tea infused cleansing shampoo makes the scalp feel.

Hair Under There Bomb Braid In Conditioner
Softening & hydrating pre-install treatment to be used before braiding the hair in preparation for an installation of a wig, weave, or extensions. This leave in conditioner can also be used on curly weaves and extensions. Excellent cream to use after taking down braids to prevent breakage. Braiding dry, brittle, moisture deprived hair will only further damage your hair. Start with conditioned hair with this protective “braid in” conditioner.
