Social media continues to be the go-to space for identifying the latest trends and styles. Are you stuck in the same boat and looking for some inspiration? Naturally Curly has you covered with the top 15 Instagram-worthy hairstyles you can try!
1. Wash and Go with a Headband

Bored with your typical wash-n-go? I recommend adding a little something extra to the style like a classic wrapped headband to liven up a casual look.
2. Ballet Aesthetic

Balletcore has been making a big comeback this season and you can dress this look up with tiny accents like ribbons and satin bows. Balletcore aesthetics aren’t just about sporting a bun but creating a soft and delicate look with your curls, coils, and waves.
3. Beaded Braids:

So you’ve done braids before, but now you want something with a little more fun. This beaded braid look is one of my favorite braided styles ever — yes, ever — because of its unique twists on the typical box braid style. The beads at the end make this look the ultimate head-turner, and you can even change the beads to another color or go bold and do multiple colors.
4. Braidout with a Hat:

Keeping natural hair moisturizer and hydrating during the colder months is no easy task — and if protective styles aren’t your jam, try doing your regular style, but adding a cute hat or beret to protect some of those curls. Also, if you’re working with second or third-day braid-out hair, this is a perfect way to dress up the style to keep it looking fresh!
5. Vintage Pearl Hair Net With Senegalese Twists

It’s elegant, and fresh, and puts a new twist on the everyday hair net. You could easily incorporate this into a braided look or a bun and adapt the colors to fit your individual style.
6. Space Buns

This look is out of this world! If you want to have a little fun with your look, space buns are a great move — and all hair types can rock it. We recommend using the Naked by Essations Slaid Edge Control, which is great at smoothing flyaways and laying down edges! Princess Leia herself would definitely approve of these buns.
7. Half-up Half-down with Bantu Knots

Switch up your basic half-up half-down style by adding a few bantu knots in the front. This style is fierce and can be achieved in less than 10 minutes, great for making the most out of day 5 curls.
8. Twists With A Hat

Nostalgia is in and these twists are giving all the 90s vibes with this furry hat which is reminiscent of Lil Kim or Pamela Anderson.
9. Updo with Faux Bangs

This is one of my personal go-to’s and a style I learned from Instagram! For people with type 4 hair, which is more prone to get tangled, I recommend these updo styles to keep your hair from knotting when it’s down. I also love this style because you can semi-fake bangs by parting some of your hair at the front of your head and braiding or twists your strands.
10. Box Braids

Honestly, you can never go wrong with box braids, especially when you make the style fun and add gold clips throughout. To keep your braids fresh and hydrated, I recommend using the Taliah Waajid Protective Styles Intense Moisture Bamboo and Coconut Milk Strengthening Conditioner, which has coconut milk and vitamin E, to keep locs and braids healthy and strong.
11. Braided Ponytail

This braided high ponytail is giving us Beyonce’s Formation world tour vibes — and we’d do anything to remotely look like Queen B herself. If you’re a decent braider, you’ll find this style easy to rock. Learn how to maintain your braided styles here.
12. Twisted Updo

This style is definitely a head-turner! Whether you’re going on a nice date or going to an important business meeting, this detailed updo can dress just about any look-up.
13. Criss Cross Braided Ponytail Puff

Big, fluffy ponytails are a look that never goes out of style. On days you want to keep your hair out your face, but still want to look fierce, we recommend giving this style a try. The braided pattern at the front of the hair plays up the normal slicked-down, low ponytail look we often see.
14. Crochet Braids With a Beanie

The colder season is upon us and that means we should embrace all the versatility and warmth of a beanie. Modern beanies have tons of stretch and are flexible for many hair types so embrace all the cozy vibes this season.
15. Barbie Ponytail

Barbie isn’t going anywhere. The classic retro ponytail can be achieved with a blowout or straightener. The key is to get the signature flip at the end and apply lots of oil and pomade.
