A mousse is a hair styling product that comes in a foam consistency in an aerosol can. It’s often loved in the wavy and curly hair communities because of its lightweight form and hold.
If you would have asked me a year ago if I was planning on adding a mousse into my styling routine, I might have laughed out loud at that notion because it reminded me of my pre curly girl routine when I had stringy, poofy waves and no definition. What I have realized since then, however, is that it wasn’t the mousse that created my hair troubles, but instead my lack of knowledge and curl care.
